Artist’s Statement:
My work is a combination of exploration of media and self. The media that speaks to me is the media I use, often switching midway through to try something new. Works range from drawings and paintings, photography and sculpture, to digital art. Many of my works are a combination of several di?erent media. I let my emotions take control and do the creating. I am inspired by Leonardo da Vinci and the other masters, Botticelli, Walt Disney, Jean Michel Basquiat, Banksy, and Guillermo del Toro to name a few. The goal of my work is to inspire, inform, challenge, evoke emotions, provoke thoughts and reaction. My work is rooted in my wishes to bring awareness to treating each other better, treating the planet better and treating ourselves better, challenges long held cultural and religious beliefs that do not feel right or from a place of love, and to be the ones who break the cycle, and to stop perpetuating thousands of years of generational hatred to one another.
